
Highway 64 Project Marketing Proposal




This proposal was created as the deliverable for my senior year capstone project. It centers around the Highway 64 Project, an interdisciplinary student research initiative that sends Professional Writing and Environmental Science students across North Carolina to interact with and write about towns all across North Carolina. By the time I wrote this proposal, I had worked with the Highway 64 Project for two years both as a researcher and a project manager. During this time, I noticed one main challenge the project faced: its struggle to reach intended audiences of Elon students and North Carolina community members.

This strategy, containing a digital audit, fact sheets on similar successfully marketed organizations, a brand kit and more reflects my ability to conduct relevant research, even without many available analytics, and create a strategy foundation from the ground up. I wish I had been able to implement this strategy and see it come to fruition for a project I care so deeply about.
